As one of the leading care homes in Middlesbrough, Ascot was established in 1988 and refurbished in 2013. Now, it boasts 34 beds, each housed in spacious and beautiful single en-suite bedrooms along with an array of general nursing care and elderly care services.
Each bedroom features a wall mounted plasma TV, which not only looks great but comes with a selection of over 100 channels thanks to our Freeview system. We also have a secure, sensory garden at the rear of the premises, which is perfect to relax in and features a monolithic water feature.
Restaurant, Bistro and Hairdressing Salon
As well as the gardens and individual rooms at Ascot, our nursing home also houses a main restaurant and elegant small conservatory bistro, which boasts fantastic views over the terrace. The dining areas feature beautifully presented Parisian murals to add even further to the feel of luxury for our residents.
We even have an in-house hairdressing salon so they can look as good as they feel when they’re staying with Ascot, taking pride in their appearance and making them feel right at home.
Activities and Facilities in Abundance
Ascot offers substantial day areas for our residents, with lots of activities and facilities provided within our private care home.
The principle day rooms are a core feature of Ascot, and include our main lounge with hearing loop system for the hard of hearing. This can be divided by oak bi-fold doors which grants access to our traditional snug area, for that added boost of relaxation for residents and an essential adding to the general nursing care provisions we offer.
